We offer a 3 day safari as an option for visitors with limited time in northern Tanzania.  A 3 days safari is an adventure into wild places seeing iconic wildlife while travelling in safari 4X4 vehicles. A short safari is a popular extension tour after climbing Kilimanjaro.

Day 1: Arusha- Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will meet our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, there are after you will travel east to the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue with an afternoon game drives, along the Tarangire River.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Today you enjoy a full day of game viewing at the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Called the eighth wonder of the world, the crater won’t fail to take your breath away as you stand on the rim looking down a 10-mile wide crater floor with abundant wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world covering approximately 260 sq km’s with walls rising 600 meters from the crater floor. Mid afternoon, leave Ngorongoro Crater to return to the lodge or camp site for relaxation before dinner and overnight.

 Day 3: Lake Manyara – Arusha

After a short drive to the park gate, enter Lake Manyara for a game driving. There are diverse habitats to explore, including the ancient soda lake; More than 400 species have been recorded, in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds. Leave the park late afternoon to return to Arusha town.
