DAY 1

ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Your adventure begins with a morning briefing and a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known as the “Home of the Giants,” this park is famous for its ancient, massive Baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in North Tanzania. We will spend the day tracking herds along the Tarangire River, which acts as a magnet for wildlife during the dry season. Keep your eyes peeled for tree-climbing lions, leopards, and over 500 species of birds. After an action-packed afternoon, we head to the cooler highlands for a relaxing evening.

  • Distance/Duration: 120 km (Approx. 2.5 hours drive)
  • Game Viewing Time: 6–7 hours of intensive wildlife tracking
  • Transport: Private 4WD Custom Safari Land Cruiser
  • Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner (LD)
  • Accommodation: Mid-range Lodge/Tented Camp

KARATU TO CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, we journey toward the world-famous Serengeti. The drive takes us through the lush Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering a high-altitude view of the crater before descending into the “Endless Plains.” As we enter the Seronera Valley (Central Serengeti), you’ll immediately understand why this is the heart of the park. This area is a predator’s paradise, with resident prides of lions and solitary leopards often seen lounging on “kopjes” (rock formations). We enjoy a sunset game drive before reaching your camp.

  • Distance/Duration: 145 km (Approx. 4-5 hours including transit game drive)
  • Game Viewing Time: 4–5 hours (transit and afternoon drive)
  • Transport: Private 4WD Custom Safari Land Cruiser

DAY 3

FULL DAY EXPLORATION OF CENTRAL SERENGETI

We dedicate this entire day to the heart of the “Wild Empire.” After an early breakfast, we set out for a full-day game drive in the Seronera Valley, where the abundance of resident wildlife is staggering year-round. This central region is world-renowned for its high density of big cats, particularly leopards that draped over the branches of acacia trees and lions that lounge on the iconic granite kopjes (rock formations). We will track the Great Migration (seasonal) across the golden savanna, witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, and observe the fascinating social behaviors of elephants and giraffes. Whether we spend the day near the Retima Hippo Pool or exploring the hidden valleys of the central plains, every turn offers a new photographic masterpiece. We return to the camp as the sun sets over the horizon, painting the sky in classic African hues.

DAY 4

SERENGETI PLAINS TO NGORONGOR HIGHLANDS

After a bush brunch, we begin our journey back toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, we pass through diverse landscapes ranging from short-grass plains to dense woodlands. You have the optional opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai Boma to learn about the indigenous culture and cattle-herding traditions that have existed here for centuries.

Today we descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a true “Eden” of Africa. Within this collapsed volcano, you will find almost every species of African wildlife, including the rare and endangered Black Rhino. The crater’s soda lake is often pink with thousands of flamingos, while the Lerai Forest provides shade for giant tuskers. After a picnic lunch surrounded by hippos at the Ngoitoktok Springs, we ascend the crater wall and begin the journey back to Arusha for your onward flight or hotel drop-off.
